How to Set Up Affiliate Programs in UpPromote

The detail guide to set up affiliate program in UpPromote for Shopify merchants. Find the path you need and get redirect to the right instruction page.

A program is a group of affiliates that share the same set of rules. Each program has its own commission, registration form, and benefits. This lets you manage different types of affiliates, or run different campaigns, side by side.

For example, you might run one program for influencers and another for loyal customers, each with its own commission rate.

Good to know: The Free plan includes one program. You can run more than one program on the Growth plan and above. See Pricing Plans.

Frequently asked questions

How many programs can I run?

One on the Free plan, and as many as you want on the Growth plan and above. Each program keeps its own rules, so you can treat each affiliate group differently.

What's the difference between a program and an affiliate?

A program is the set of rules. An affiliate is a person who joins that program to promote your store. You can learn both in the Glossary.

Can affiliates be in more than one program?

This depends on how you set things up. Most merchants keep affiliates in one program at a time, so the rules stay clear. You manage all of this from the Affiliates tab.
