Special coupon commision

Giving discounts to the customers and commissions to the affiliates at the same time can significantly affect the merchant's profit. In such cases, some merchants would like to reduce the commission rate to ensure their profit.

Special coupon commission helps merchants adjust the commission rules for referral orders that have a coupon code used. You can set a lower or higher commission rate for referrals using coupons than those promoted by links.

To enable Special coupon commission for a program, go to Programs > Locate the program you want > Click on the program's name > Advance > switch on Special coupon commission.

Please note that Special coupon commission is only available for the Simple commission rule (not applicable for the Advance: Commission on order value rule).

Coupon code commissioning can be applied to Affiliate coupons (coupons assigned to your affiliates) or Any coupon (including affiliates' coupons and your shop's discount codes that are not assigned to any affiliates).

In the Amount field, you can enter a commission rate that you want to apply for orders using coupons. The commission type will be based on what you set in the Commission structure in the Program settings. For example, if you set the commission type to be Percent of sale above, it will also use that type for Special coupon commission.

Note:

• The Special coupon commission rate will not override the Special product commission rate and First commission (on Lifetime commission rate).

• The feature applies 1 commission rate to all referrals with coupon codes used in general. In other words, you can't set different commission rates for referral orders made with different coupon codes.
