# Creator Discovery
#### About Creator Discovery
Creator Discovery is a built-in search and analytics tool that helps merchants find, evaluate, and manage creators across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — all within UpPromote.
Instead of manually browsing social media or juggling third-party tools, you can search creators by username or email, filter by performance metrics and audience demographics, review in-depth profile analytics, and save candidates to curated lists — without leaving the app.

#### How It Works
1. Open the Discovery Hub and select your target platform (Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube).
2. Search by username or email, and apply Advanced Filters to narrow results.
3. Browse the result list and click any creator card to preview their profile.
4. Open the Full Creator Report for in-depth analysis before making a decision.
5. Save promising creators to a List and reach out to them directly to begin onboarding.

#### How to Use Creator Discovery
**Step 1: Open the Discovery Hub**
From your UpPromote dashboard, navigate to Outreach > Creator Discovery.
The Discovery Hub is your main workspace. From here, you can select a platform, run a search, access your saved List, and review previously viewed creator profiles.

**Step 2: Search for Creators**
Creator Discovery supports Standard Search — search by username or email address, combined with Advanced Filters for precise targeting.
To run a search:
1. Select a platform: Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
2. Enter a username or email in the search bar, or leave it blank to browse using filters only.
3. Click Search to see results.
Use Advanced Filters to refine results by performance metrics, audience demographics, content topics, and account attributes.
💡 You can switch platforms at any time. Each platform has its own filter set tailored to that platform's metrics.

**Step 3: Review Search Results**
Search results appear as a list of creator cards, each showing a quick summary: profile name, handle, platform, follower count, engagement rate, and primary audience location.
Click any card to open the Creator Profile panel on the right.

**Step 4: View the Creator Profile**
The Creator Profile panel gives you a quick preview of a creator's key information without leaving the search results page.
From the profile panel, you can:
* View basic stats and audience overview
* Browse Popular Posts to evaluate content quality and style
* See Lookalikes — similar creators you might also consider
* Check Collaboration history
* Save to a List or add Internal Notes for your team
💡 Use Internal Notes to record your outreach status, team feedback, or any relevant context about this creator.

**Step 5: Open the Full Creator Report**
For deeper analysis before committing, open the Full Creator Report from the profile panel.
The Full Report includes:
* Audience Demographics — Age, gender, and geographic breakdown of the creator's followers
* Fake Follower Estimate — An authenticity score indicating the proportion of real vs. suspicious followers
* Growth Metrics — Follower growth trend over time
* Content Performance — Average engagement, top-performing content, and posting frequency
You can also export the report as a PDF to share with your team or save for your records.
Full Creator Reports are counted toward your Creator Discovery usage quota. See your current usage in Outreach > Creator Discovery > Usage.

**Step 6: Save Creators to a List**
Once you've identified a promising creator, save them to a List to keep things organized.
To save a creator:
1. From the profile panel, click Save to List.
2. Click Save.
To manage your List:
Go to the Lists tab in the Discovery Hub to view all your saved creators. You can remove individual creators from the list at any time.
