How to Set Up Affiliate Coupon Settings in UpPromote
Give affiliates coupon codes in UpPromote. Enable coupon tracking, then auto-generate a code per affiliate or let them pick their own to track sales.
Coupons give your affiliates a second way to promote your store. A customer enters the affiliate's code at checkout, and UpPromote tracks the sale to that affiliate. The code can also give the customer a discount, which makes it easy to share.
Unlike affiliate links, coupons are not turned on by default. You enable them first, then create or assign codes.
Turn on coupon tracking
Go to Settings > Link & coupon > Coupon settings.
Switch on Tracking by coupon.
Once it's on, you can start creating and assigning coupon codes to your affiliates.
Coupon options
Auto-generate coupon: create a unique coupon code for each affiliate automatically.
Let affiliates choose their coupon: allow affiliates to pick their own code, which can make it easier for them to remember and share.

Do I have to use coupons?
No. Coupons are optional. Affiliate links track sales on their own. Add coupons when you want a second method or want to offer a discount.
