# Affiliate coupon settings

Unlike affiliate links which are automatically generated for affiliates, you need to enable **Tracking by coupon** to give affiliates coupons as another promotional method. 

Simply go to **Settings** > **Link & coupon** > **Coupon settings**, then switch on **Tracking by coupon**.

Once you've enabled **Tracking by coupon,** you can start creating/assigning coupon codes to your affiliates.
