Manage API keys for email service integrations
UpPromote supports integrations with Mailchimp, Omnisend, and Klaviyo to help you sync affiliate data with your email marketing platform.
This guide explains how to remove an existing API key, generate a new one, and update your connection with UpPromote.
What should I do?
The steps depend on your current UpPromote plan.
If you're currently on the Professional or Enterprise plan
Email service integrations are available on the Professional and Enterprise plans.
You need to:
Remove or revoke the existing API key used with UpPromote.
Generate a new API key.
Add the new API key to UpPromote.
Confirm that the integration is connected successfully.
Follow the instructions for your email service below.
If you're currently on another plan
Email service integrations are only available on the Professional and Enterprise plans, so you won't be able to reconnect the integration at this time.
You only need to:
Find the API key previously used to connect your email service with UpPromote.
Remove or revoke that API key.
No further action is required.
If you upgrade to the Professional or Enterprise plan in the future, you can generate a new API key and connect the integration again.
Mailchimp
Revoke your existing API key
Log in to your Mailchimp account.
Click your profile icon → Profile.
Open Extras → API keys.
Find the API key used for your UpPromote integration.
Click Revoke.

Once an API key is revoked, it can no longer be used for the integration.
