# Contact merchants via MooseDesk widget

With the **MooseDesk Integration** on **UpPromote**, you now have access to a streamlined communication system that allows you to easily connect with merchants for support. Whether you have questions about commissions, performance, or other issues, the **MooseDesk widget** provides a simple way to get the help you need.

### **How to Use MooseDesk**

**Accessing the Chat widget**:

* Log in to your **UpPromote affiliate account**.
* On your Dashboard page, you will see the **MooseDesk chat widget**.
* If the widget is active, you can start a live chat or submit a ticket by clicking on the widget icon.

**Starting a Chat**:

* Click on the **"Chat with us"** button to open the chat window.
* Type your message in the **text box** and hit **send**.
* Wait for a response from the merchant, and continue the conversation until your issue is resolved.

**Creating a Support Ticket**:

* If your issue is more complex or if the merchant is unavailable for live chat, you can create a support ticket.
* Click on the **"Send us a ticket"** option within the widget.
* Fill out the required details (e.g., subject, issue description) and submit the ticket.

**Chat and ticket notification**:

* If the merchant responds, you will receive a notification, and you can continue the conversation until your query is resolved.
