# Auto-activate affiliates

Whenever someone signs up to be your affiliate, their status will be pending so you can review their application manually. 

By turning on **Auto-activate affiliates,** newly signed-up affiliates will be automatically approved right after the affiliates submit the registration form. They will immediately be redirected to their [affiliate admin account](https://docs.uppromote.com/guide-for-affiliate/affiliate-admin).

If you just want to auto-activate affiliate accounts in certain programs, select program options in the **Program** field. This can help you manage your affiliate campaign more efficiently.
