We're excited to introduce enhancements to the Customer Referral feature, providing you with new display options and customization to boost your affiliate recruitment.
Display options
You can now select different display types for customers to sign up for your referral program, which is accessible via the Display page. Each display type allows customization to match your store's branding and customer engagement strategy
Separated customer list
Customer accounts will be displayed separately from affiliate accounts. To review the customer list, go to Affiliates > select Customers.
Exclude products from commission

You can now specify which products or collections should not generate commissions by setting up the brand-new feature: Exclude products/collections from commission. Set the default affiliate link for each program

If you have multiple programs and want their affiliate links to redirect to different pages of your store rather than the homepage, you can now make use of the new function Set default affiliate link for each program. It helps you tailor your affiliate marketing strategies more effectively to suit the specific needs of each program. This not only enhances targeting and personalization but also improves the potential for tracking and analyzing the performance of different affiliate initiatives independently.
APRIL 2024 UPDATES
Add more sync options to Multi-store

Previously, this feature was limited to syncing affiliates and coupons across multiple stores. With the latest update, the Multi-store feature now supports additional sync options or allows you to switch off Syncing and simply connect stores together.
You can choose to sync programs and other program-related features, such as Multi-level Marketing, Bonuses, and other important settings like Payment methods, Registration form, … allowing for a more cohesive and integrated management of your affiliate campaigns.
Integrate with Recurpay

New options for Add a new coupon

UpPromote has recently added extra coupon options derived from Shopify coupon settings. You can now create an Order discount, Product discount or Free shipping coupon. Furthermore, you will have an option to set the Minimum purchase requirements for customers to receive discounts, and the Usage limit that Limit coupon to one use per customer.

New email template: New coupon

Affiliates will now receive the New coupon email whenever you create and assign coupons manually to them on the Coupons page. You can edit this email template anytime by going to Outreach > Emails.
AUGUST 2023 UPDATES
The UpPromote embedded app is live

We’re thrilled to announce that the embedded version of UpPromote is officially released on Shopify. You can now open and use UpPromote directly from your Shopify admin and enjoy a seamless experience using the app.
In this update, we have improved the Onboarding process and Home page. Specifically, the Onboarding process has been shortened and focuses more on your primary role as a merchant in an Affiliate Marketing campaign.
The Home page has also been redesigned and added a Recommendations section, where you can explore suggested features that match your goal when running an Affiliate Marketing program
Other notable changes in this embedded app update are the layout and the app speed, which help improve the overall experience.

MAY 2023 UPDATES
Duplicate program option

If you want to make a copy of the exact same settings of one program, we now have the option to duplicate the program so you won’t have to manually set everything up from scratch. This feature is available from the Growth plan onwards.
Kindly note that it will only help duplicate program settings and its registration form. Special product commission will not be transferred over.
Edit Post-purchase popup Thank you page
