Registration form editor

Settings > Affiliate admin > Registration form

What you should customize

1. Benefits text

Adjust the content of Benefits text to let affiliates know more about their benefits when joining your program. Make sure to keep it brief.

2. Form fields

Add more required fields to gather more information from affiliates so as to review their accounts delicately when approving.

3. Form interface

Tailor the registration form regarding color, font, image, etc. to match your brand using existing settings or Custom CSS.

4. Landing page

Create a landing page for your affiliate program with vital information to draw attention from potential affiliates. Check out an example here.

How to edit registration form?

Each program you created in UpPromote has a separate registration form. To edit/customize form(s), please go to Settings > Affiliate admin > Registration form.

Next, select the program that you want to edit the form.

On the left panel, there are several parts of the form that you can edit. After editing the form, don't forget to click Save Changes. Here's what you can edit:

1. Font

This helps change the font of all texts on the form.

2. Background

You can set an image as the background or just change the background color.

To change the background color, put a hex color code into the Page background color field. In case you are not familiar with Hex color codes, simply click on the small square in the Page background color box to open the color board. It will help you to pick a color without knowing the color codes.

3. Sidebar

Similar to Background, but for the left panel of the form.

4. Logo and Title

If you want to show the brand logo on the form, switch Show logo on.

You can change the form title text and its color as well.

5. Benefits text

The Benefits text section will briefly show the benefits the affiliates would get if they joined your program. You can switch it on/off to show/hide the section or edit its content.

6. Form fields

You can change the color of the fields' titles and the input.

To add fields to the form, select them from the field list. In case you don't find the field that you want to add, you can click Add your own field:

To change the order of the fields, click Sort form fields.

To either edit the field title or remove the field, use these 2 buttons:

Important Note: Please don't change the following fields into others: First name, Last name, Email, Password, Confirm password. You may rename or change the wording/language of those, but you have to make sure that they still ask for the same information. Those fields have their own unique function relating to the affiliates' accounts. For the same reason, please don't change other fields into those "fixed fields".

For example, you can rename the field "Last name" into "Family name" or "Nom de famille" ("last name" in French). However, you should not change it to "Password", "Company" or anything else. You also shouldn't change "Company" into "Password" or "First name" either.

7. CAPTCHA

Switch this on to add a CAPTCHA to the form. This helps prevent spammers and bots from signing up.

8. Buttons

In this section, you can change the color/text of the Login button or Submit button.

9. Terms & Conditions

The T&C and Policies will be shown at the bottom of the form like this:

Click the eye-icon buttons to see samples of T&C and Policies. If you want to use the samples, click Use sample Terms/ Use sample Policy.

10. Translate

If you have this function activated, a scroll-down button will be available so that affiliates can easily translate the whole form into their language.

Note: This function uses Google Translate for the form. UpPromote cannot intervene or edit the translations.

11. Custom CSS

You can freely use CSS codes to customize the registration form.

Generally, CSS codes can change colors/sizes of different elements on the form, as well as the layout, spacing, columns, etc.

If you have some ideas to customize the form while you don't know what codes to use, please contact us via the in-app chat. We will be more than happy to provide you with the proper CSS codes.

12. Social sharing

You can view or edit the content/thumbnail image of the registration form link for social sharing posts on Facebook, Instagram, etc.

Note: The changes will take a while to be updated. For an immediate change, you can clear the link preview cache on each social platform. View more here.
