Integration - Page builder
UpPromote integrates with PageFly, EComposer, and GemPages so you can drag and drop affiliate or referral signup forms onto any custom-built Shopify page.
Overview
UpPromote’s integration with page builder apps makes embedding your affiliate and referral signup forms on custom-built pages easy. This feature empowers merchants to attract potential affiliates and customers by placing signup forms on key pages such as the homepage, landing pages, or promotional pages.
By using this integration, you gain greater flexibility and control, allowing you to optimize your pages for conversions while efficiently managing your referral program.

Activate Signup forms in UpPromote
To display UpPromote forms on your custom-built pages, activate them in your UpPromote account:
1. Affiliate Signup Form
The affiliate registration form is active by default. The system automatically uses the Default Program’s signup form when embedding on pages created with page builder apps.
2. Referral Signup Form
To ensure the form appears correctly on your custom-built pages, first enable it in UpPromote:
Step 1: Go to UpPromote dashboard > Outreach > Customer referral.
Step 2: Activate Customer referral. After enabling it, make sure you also activate Customer referral in App embeds.
Step 3: Click Manage on the Display card > scroll down to Landing page > Customize.
Step 4: Customize the design and content as desired. Any adjustments to form fields, descriptions, or branding should be made here, as PageFly supports only limited styling options.
Step 5: Save and activate Landing page to make it active and ready for page builder apps.
PageFly integration
UpPromote’s integration allows you to seamlessly place the Affiliate Signup Form or Referral Signup Form on any PageFly-built page. Follow these instructions to set up and ensure the forms appear correctly on your published pages:
Step 1: Ensure the signup forms are enabled in UpPromote so they can display on the built pages.
Step 2: Open PageFly from your Shopify admin. (If you haven’t installed it yet, get it here).
Step 3: Create a new page or edit an existing page. For a new page, select a template or start with a blank page.
Step 4: In the PageFly editor, go to the Third-party elements tab on the left.
Step 5: Click on the Third-party app list.
Step 6: Search for UpPromote and activate it from the list.
Step 7: Return to the Third-party integration list, navigate to the Referral Affiliate Marketing section, and select UpPromote: Affiliate & Referral. Drag and drop the element you prefer onto your page.
Step 8: The Signup Form should now appear in the editor. Once published, it will be live on your page.
Note: You can adjust the form's position, margin, and some styling (like borders) within PageFly. However, the main design and content adjustments, such as field labels, colors, and layout, should be done in UpPromote.
EComposer integration
With UpPromote’s integration, you can easily add a Referral Signup Form directly onto any EComposer-built page. Here’s how to set up and enable the form to display correctly on your published pages.
Once the form is enabled in UpPromote, add it to your EComposer page by following these steps:
Step 1: Ensure the signup forms are enabled in UpPromote so they can display on the built pages.
Step 2: Open EComposer from your Shopify admin. (If you haven’t installed it yet, get it here).
Step 3: Create a new page or edit an existing page. For a new page, select a template or start with a blank page.
Step 4: In the EComposer editor, click the Extension library tab on the left.
Step 5: Search for UpPromote > click Install now > click Yes, app installed to activate the UpPromote extension in EComposer.
Step 6: Return to the editor, click Sections > Elements tab > scroll down to the bottom > expand Extensions > drag and drop UpPromote element onto the page.
Step 7: The UpPromote element should now appear in the editor. You can also change the element type by selecting the element > click Type on the left panel > select Affiliate signup form or Referral signup form. Once published, the corresponding signup form will appear on your page.
Note: You can adjust the form's position, margin, and some styling (like borders) within EComposer. However, the main design and content adjustments, such as field labels, colors, and layout, should be done in UpPromote.
GemPages integration
UpPromote’s integration with GemPages allows you to seamlessly place the Affiliate Signup Form or Referral Signup Form on any GemPages-built page. Follow these instructions to set up and ensure the forms appear correctly on your published pages:
Step 1: Ensure the signup forms are enabled in UpPromote so they can display on the built pages.
Step 2: Open GemPages from your Shopify admin. (If you haven’t installed it yet, get it here).
Step 3: Create a new page or edit an existing page. For a new page, select a template or start with a blank page.
Step 4: In the GemPages editor, click the Shopify Apps tab on the left.
Step 5: Search for UpPromote > drag and drop the UpPromote element onto the page.
Step 6: The UpPromote element should now appear in the editor. You can also change the element type by selecting the element > Settings > Choose Widget > select Affiliate Signup Form or Customer Referral Landing. Once published, the corresponding signup form will appear on your page.
Note: You can adjust the form's position, spacing, and some styling (such as borders or animations) within GemPages. However, the main design and content adjustments, such as field labels, colors, and layout, should be done in UpPromote.
