Third-party Integration

In order to allow our system to track affiliates' performances on pages that are not built on Shopify (WordPress, Shopify buy button, etc.), merchant needs to embed the Third-party integration code on those pages.
In case you don't use those features, you should ignore this section.
To get the integration code, go to Settings > Integration > Copy the Third Party Tracking code > embed it on the pages you want to check.
If you are using pages on WordPress, follow this document to learn how to add the integration code:
If you are using other platforms, please ask your developer to add the integration code to allow our script to be loaded.
In case you want to change the affiliate URL to direct to your third-party page, you can edit the default affiliate link on Settings > Affiliate link & coupon > Default affiliate link.

Recharge Integration

In case you are using Recharge payment in your shop, click Connect to integrate with Recharge. Or else, ignore this section.
Then you will need to confirm your integration:

Bold Subscription Integration

In case you are using Bold Subscription for tracking recurring orders in your shop, set up Bold subscription integration in Settings > Integration > Bold subscriptions > Setup.
For the new Bold subscription app (which is integrated with Shopify Checkout), just need to turn on the setting to track recurring orders.
In case you only want to contribute commission for affiliates for the first order (not the recurring ones) you can keep this setting off, our system will track the first order as usual.
If you are using the old Bold subscription version(which is not integrated with Shopify checkout yet), please follow these steps to configure the integration:
A code box will be shown as below, simply copy the code and open Bold subscription app > Integrations > View all Integrations > Enable Advanced Tracking Scripts > add the code into the Script box.
After that, click Save and the integration will be on.

Appstle Integration

In order to track subscription orders from Appstle Subscriptions, you can enable Appstle integration. Simply go to Settings > Integration > Subscription / Payment apps > Appstle > Setup.
Next, switch it on and close the pop-up window.

Klaviyo Integration

In order to connect with Klaviyo, you need to get the Klaviyo API of your Klaviyo account.

1. Log in or sign up your Klaviyo account HERE

2. Create your list

On Dashboard, click on Lists and Segments to add a new list.
Create a new list and enter the list name.

3. Get the Klaviyo API Keys

Go to the top right of the screen, click Account.
On Settings tab, click API Keys.
In case you haven't create a new API key in your account, create a new one:
Copy the API keys and paste to Affiliate Marketing app by Secomapp, choose the List you've just created and click Save and Sync to complete the setup.

2. Create your list

By creating a list, all affiliates will be synced to your list so you can easily manage and create a campaign for your team.
First, go to
In case you don't have a contact list, add contacts by clicking Add Your Contacts.
When you have a contact list, go to Audience > Manage Audience > View Audience.
Click Create Audience
Create a new list and don't forget to hit Save.

3. Get the MailChimp API key and integrate

Navigate your account setting:
Click Extras > API keys.
On the APIs section, click Create a key.
After creating the API key, copy the key and go back to Affiliate by Secomapp
Go to Settings > Integration > Mailchimp then click Connect.
Paste the API key there and click Next. You will then be asked to select a list to sync the affiliate contact. Click Save & Sync once you finish:
The default affiliate fields that will be syn on your Mailchimp contact are email, first_name, last_name, phone, in case you want to sync more information such as ref_code, Instagram, coupon, you can configure the list setting on Mailchimp.
Open your list Settings:
Choose Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags:
Add a text field and enter the field name, on this column Put this tag on your content, enter REF_CODE (for referral code), COUPON (for coupon) INSTAGRAM (for Instagram).

Omnisend integration

Omnisend is an omni-channel marketing automation platform that does not only email, but also SMS, push notifications, WhatsApp, pop-ups, segmentation, and dynamic Facebook and Google ad integrations.
Integrating with Omnisend helps to sync your affiliate list to a list on your Omnisend account, then you can send automatic follow-up emails to educate/communicate with the team.
To Integrate with Omnisend, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Create an Omnisend account via . In case you have an Omnisend account already. Skip this step and log in here:
Step 2: Create an API key following this instruction:
Step 3: Open UpPromote: Affiliate Marketing > Settings > Integration > Omnisend > enter the API Key > Connect.
Step 4: Start syncing the affiliate list to Omnisend by clicking Sync. This process could take up to 3~5 minutes. After that, kindly check Omnisend. In case the affiliates are not shown, go back to step 3. If the affiliates are shown there, proceed the step 5.
Step 5: Try to register as an affiliate to test. The newly registered affiliate account should show up on Omnisend.

Shopify account list

In order to connect your affiliate profiles to Shopify customer list, you can activate Shopify account sync function and the system will automatically create accounts for all of your affiliates as customers on your Shopify shop.

Order tag

You are able to create a tag for every referral order tracked by our system, this feature could be used for analyzing and supporting third party integration.
To create an order tag, click Settings > Integration > Order tag > Set up.
Plus, you can add variable {affiliate_id} onto the tag to determine the order from a specific affiliate using Affiliate ID.
Upon analyzing, you can filter your referral order with tags in the Orders section on your Shopify admin page.

Postback URL

What is postback URL?
Postback, in general, are URLs that are used to pass the information about conversion. They are sometimes called callbacks, server-to-server (S2S) or cookie-less conversion tracking. Postback allows servers to communicate with each other directly. If a client is not involved, no cookies would be used on a visitor’s computer. Once get activated by a source platform (an affiliate network or tracker), these links would send information to the target platform (a tracker or traffic source) in a blink of an eye.
In short, Postback URL refers to the process of getting notified about a conversion event via a third-party server.
Enabling Postback URL within the app allows your affiliate to enter their postback URL with parameters so the required information will be sent to their third-party server.
A postback URL template looks like:
To enable this integration, visit Settings > Integration > Postback URL, then turn the feature on.

Facebook Pixel

Facebook pixel helps the affiliate to embed their Facebook pixel IDs on your store to track pageview/conversion from their affiliate links.
After you enabling Facebook pixel, on the affiliate account, there will be a field called Facebook pixel for the affiliates to enter their pixel ID:
